Who we are

Albula Advisors is a Swiss trust company based in Lugano, active since 2013.

Our services are primarily oriented towards High-Net-Worth Individuals, especially but not only entrepreneurs, to whom we provide asset management services, financial advice and business consultancy.

Unlike what happens in banks and larger consulting firms, our services are not standardized but are tailor-made based on the specific needs of the customer, by following a “boutique” approach.

We have twenty years of high-level experience in the trust and banking sector which enables us to better serve even the most sophisticated customers in a context of increasing complexity. We also use a consolidated international professional network that allows us to serve our customers on a global scale.

Albula Advisors is authorized by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) to provide services as an asset manager. Additionally, it is affiliated with the Swiss Supervisory Company (AOOS) and is a member of the Swiss Association of Asset Managers (ASG).

Mission and values

We help you achieve your financial goals! Financial well-being is crucial to being able to lead a pleasant life and to be able to look to the future with serenity.

The rapid and disruptive changes we are witnessing in the global financial world are in fact displacing most investors, who live in a situation of constant uncertainty and are unlikely to find their way in an ever wider and inscrutable context.

The decade that has just begun will inevitably lead to important transformations in the global financial sector, destined to break schemes that have become obsolete and inefficient through the adoption of new “FinTech” technologies and the introduction of alternative monetary systems such as “cryptocurrencies”.

The happy times of “safe investments”, “protected capital” and of “insured returns” have definitively waned as the paradigms on which these presumed certainties have been based for many decades have crumbled under the weight of the ever changing financial and technological landscape. In recent years these changes have gone far beyond the most imaginative perspective.

Correctly orienting the investor within this “financial jungle” and helping him to profit whilst avoiding the traps is at the heart of our business. From the many opportunities that arise in this phase of great change therefore requires not only extensive and well-founded professional skills but a flexible mental structure and being open to the new.

By our nature we are free and independent, therefore we can reason beyond the traditional “company logic” of structures and hierarchies.

The customer is the center of our “creed” and his satisfaction is our goal and our pride.

In carrying out our work we are guided by an approach to life that is respectful of sustainability and diversity, by the propensity for continuous improvement and by the search for innovative solutions.

About Albula

Albula Advisors owes its name to the Albula Pass, a Swiss Alpine pass located in the Canton of Grisons at 2,312 meters above sea level. An ancient road that dates back to Roman times and winds its way between inaccessible and spectacular mountains, connecting the Engadin village of La Punt-Chamuesch, near St. Moritz, to that of Bergün in the Val d’Alvra.

During a ski excursion at the foot of the Albula Pass in the winter of 2012, I conceived the “Albula Advisors” project, that is the creation of a free and independent consultancy company (the “advisors”), which would write its own future by starting from a completely white sheet, (the Latin word “albus” means in fact white). In addition to a healthy and legitimate desire for self-fulfillment, I finally wanted to be able to tell customers what I thought was really correct and above all in their interests, without having to respect the hateful “stable orders” typical of large structures. The time had come to cross the pass.
